My home

Near a creek, about four miles from a dollar store, sits a small, old, gray house. The warm smells of fried green tomatoes and country fried steaks fill the rooms, and surround the house on calm summer days. The grass, soft yet prickly, holding foot prints as people walk through, and gently surrounding small animals. Filling the yard are scattered figures of angels and fairies, as well as small animals and plants that add color to the gray home. In the dark of night the sounds of dogs howling, bugs and frogs croaking and buzzing, and the sound of horses hooves hitting the dirt fill the night air.
